Last December 6, 2011 an Editors Workshop was held at the 2nd Floor of Jenet Communications and was handled by Director Royce Pellerin. The workshop was aimed at teaching interested members of the Association of Professional Photographers in Japan how to edit videos using Final Cut Pro. Interested and enthusiastic members attended the workshop which started at 9:30 in the morning and ended up as late as 7:30 pm when the members finished one project which is technically considered to be their first editing project.
The workshop was attended by 11 members and was handled by Director Royce Shiroma Pellerin. Notes were taken attentively by the members as they went through the details of the workshop. After the theoretical session the members were given time to edit a video clip where they took turns in handling the editing for the first time always asking the Director for guidance and tips.
At the end of the session the members were able to edit and come up with one clip considered to be their first ever project as a group. Enthusiasm is the key in order to reach and achieve something and this group has another endeavor to do which will greatly help in producing good pieces of work for the Media in due time.
Thank you very much for the selfless effort of Director Royce Shiroma Pellerin and the photographs used here courtesy of Claridon Madum and Janses Yonaha of the APPJ group.
